Our Story
Prelude: Our love story that was minted in Miami, now flourishes across the world, and has brought us and our loved ones to the beginning of our matrimony in the stunning Charleston, South Carolina.
Chapter 1: September 15th, 2019: Miami Florida
Working freshly out of school, we were able to bond over the comedies and stresses of our new profession. It became effortless to form a deep connection. Shortly into our new relationship, COVID had reared its ugly head. As the world was shutting down, we were just igniting our flame. Weeks of isolation lead to s'mores for breakfast, daily Yahtzee battles, and a love that was growing like wildfire. We quickly became closer than we could ever imagined. Driving to work, working out together, sharing happy hours, and movie nights never seemed like quite enough. Just eclipsing a year from the birth of our relationship, we took a leap of faith and pointed the headlights North.
Chapter 2: January 1st, 2021: Toledo, Ohio
While the winters were cold, our love kept us warm and cozy year round. No amount of preparation could dim the effects of moving from Downtown Miami to the dreary skies of Toledo. Having each other as a crutch, we realized the truth in that it doesn't matter where you live, but rather the company you are with. Filling our time with travel, real estate adventures and our new friends- it quickly became an unforgettable 2.5 years. As our time was beginning to wind down, Claudia got bit by the adventure bug and signed us up for a month adventure across Europe. It was in that moment Matt knew it would be the perfect opportunity to create a memory that would last a lifetime.
Chapter 3: May 31st, 2023: Florence, Italy
A beautiful sunny day that began with an art tour of Accademia Gallery to see The David, followed by a tour of the Duomo, and of course plenty of gelato during our walking exploration. Dinner was set for 7pm at the highest outlook in Florence, where we had planned to get pictures just prior. It was here that we expressed our eternal love and began our engagement! What a perfect trip and opportunity! As we arrived back to the US it was time to turn the page, we were ready for a new beginning in a new town.
Chapter 4: June 22nd, 2023: Greenville, South Carolina
We began wedding preparations and a new job, while also taking the time to explore the city and surrounding areas. In only 6 months Greenville has blessed us with some wonderful new friends and countless memories. As we continue to discover things we love about our new home, we anxiously await the final step!
Chapter 5: May 18th, 2024: Charleston, South Carolina
